Gambia’s Medical Experts Receive Training in Maternity and Child Health at Ankara University

This morning, 30th July 2024, His Excellency A.F Conteh graced the opening ceremony of a two (2) weeks training program on Maternity and Child Health for fifteen (15) Medical and Health experts from The Gambia at the Ankara University – Faculty of Medicine.
The training is organised as part of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of The Gambia, Ankara University and the University of The Gambia (UTG).
Amb Conteh thanked the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) for collaborating in the training, and urged the trainees to conduct step-down trainings for their colleagues in Banjul.
