The Minister of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology, Prof. Pierre Gomez official visit

The Minister of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology, Prof. Pierre Gomez and his delegation including his Permanent Secretary, Vice Chancellor of the University of The Gambia and other senior officials arrived in Turkiye for an official visit from 1st May-6th May 2023. Their engagements included but were not limited to strengthening bilateral relations, signing MOUs with Universities and possible collaboration between some Universities and relevant institutions, and also addressing issues concerning students studying in Turkiye. The institutions visited were Istanbul University, YOK, TIKA, Yunus Emre Institute, Maarif Foundation, Ankara University, Middle East Technical University, YTB and also met some of the executives of the Gambian Students Association(AGAST).
