Courtesy visit to the Gambia embassy by Lt. General Yankuba Drammeh

On Tuesday 13 December 2022, the Chief of Defence Staff of the Gambia Armed Forces, Lt General Yankuba Drammeh paid a courtesy call on the Embassy in Ankara, as part of his official trip to Turkiye. He paid tribute to the efforts of the Embassy in enhancing the cooperation between The Gambia and Turkiye in the area of defence and security, especially with regard to the delivery of two Armoured Personnel Carriers (APC) to the GAF earlier in the year.
